Potters Mucus Cough Pastilles are suitable for adults and children over 12. If you're treating a young child, there are safer solutions for reducing their symptoms.

As the name suggests, Potters Pastilles treat catarrh coughs and colds. These conditions often result in chest congestion and high levels of phlegm, making it hard to breathe. If you're experiencing mucus buildup, the pastilles can break down congestion and help you expel phlegm.

Potters Pastilles contain a range of powerful ingredients, including:

• Menthol
• Eucalyptus Oil 0.022%
• Pumilio Pine Oil 0.604 v/w

Other ingredients include marshmallow root liquid extract, vegetable oil, carnauba wax, liquid glucose modified starch, and thymol.

You can take one pastille every two to three hours, but we recommend limiting your intake to 20 pastilles daily. Taking too many could result in stomach discomfort, nausea, and other symptoms.

While Potters Mucus Cough Pastilles aren't necessarily bad for pregnant women, it's best to speak to your healthcare professional first. If you're experiencing pregnancy complications, your GP may advise against using the pastilles.

In most cases, you can use the pastilles whilst taking other medications, but it's vital to read the information leaflet before combining them.
