    Fluconazole 150mg works by stopping the growth of Candida which is responsible for thrush. It usually starts to work within 24 hours; however, it can take up to three days for symptoms to improve and typically up to seven days for symptoms to clear up completely.

  • When should I take Fluconazole 150mg for a vaginal and penile thrush fungal infection?

    Fluconazole 150mg can be taken at any time of the day and can be taken either before or after a meal. It is also recommended to take the capsule with water

  • Can I take alcohol with Fluconazole 150mg?

    There is no direct interaction between Fluconazole 150mg and alcohol, and so therefore okay to drink alcohol with one dose of Fluconazole.

  • Can you take Fluconazole 150mg and ibuprofen together?

    There is no direct interaction between Fluconazole 150mg and ibuprofen, so it is safe to take them together.

  • Can I drink grapefruit juice whilst taking Fluconazole?

    You should not drink grapefruit juice whilst taking Fluconazole as grapefruit juice slows down how quickly your body can breakdown fluconazole.
