  • How do I use Ultra Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray?

    Adults and adolescents:

    • Activate the pump (please refer to the patient information leaflet for full instructions)
    • Hold your breath
    • Spray three times into the back of your throat
    • Repeat every two to three hours
    • Avoid spraying into your eyes
    • Do not use it more than eight times in 24 hours
    • Don't exceed the stated dose

    This gentle spray is formulated with the active ingredient benzocaine. The throat spray also contains sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, glycerol, saccharin sodium, levomenthol, cetylpyridinium chloride, sodium hydroxide, propylene glycol, ethanol, macrogol 300, and purified water.

  • Who can use Ultra Chloraseptic Anaesthetic Throat Spray?

    You can use this product if you're an adult or child aged six and above. You shouldn't use this throat spray if:

    • You're sensitive to benzocaine
    • You're allergic to any of the ingredients in this medicine
    • You have breathing issues
    • You suffer from a rare blood condition called methaemoglobinaemia
