    Acnecide is a gel-based lotion that works to effectively treat mild acne and spots.  It contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide which kills up to 95% of bacteria that can cause spots. It can be applied throughout the day in order to kill and prevent acne from recurring. Acnecide contains microsphere technology that works to absorb excess oils that occur naturally on the face, while also hydrating the skin using added glycerine. 

    • A gel-based treatment that contains Benzoyl Peroxide
    • Can be used once or twice a day to kill acne-causing bacteria 
    • Suitable for 16 years and over

How often do I use Acnecide Gel?

Can I use any products on top of the Acnecide Gel?

It may not be necessary to use this product alongside other acne treatments. However, this can vary from person to person. The use of cosmetics on top of Acnecide is not recommended as this can cause skin flare-ups and make your acne worse. It’s best to avoid using unnecessary cosmetic products whilst you are treating your acne in order to see the best results.

Side Effects

While there are no serious side effects associated with Acnecide, it can cause redness or sensitivity to the skin. If you experience soreness, redness or overly sensitive skin you may have an intolerance to Acnecide. If this is the case, it’s recommended to stop using this treatment and seek medical advice if the symptoms don’t get better.
