Curanail is a specifically formulated to treat mild fungal nail infections. It is used as a topical treatment, applied directly to the infected nail. The medication works by penetrating the nail, reaching the site of infection, and acting against the fungi causing the infection. It is an over-the-counter treatment, providing convenience and effectiveness in treating fungal nail conditions without the need for oral medication.

Curanail helps by delivering its antifungal agent directly to the infected nail, effectively targeting and killing the fungi responsible for the infection. This direct application helps to limit the infection and prevent its spread to other nails. Over time, with consistent application, Curanail promotes the growth of a new, healthy nail, gradually replacing the infected part. It's particularly effective in the early stages of fungal nail infections, where the infection is mild and limited.

Curanail contains the active ingredient amorolfine and the inactive ingredients ammonio methacrylate copolymer A, triacetin, butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, and ethanol.

Before the first application:

• Remove old nail polish: Use nail polish remover to remove any old nail polish from the affected nails.
• File down the infected nails: Use a disposable nail file to gently file down the surface of the affected nails. This will help the medication penetrate the nail more effectively.
• Clean the nails: Wipe the affected nails with an alcohol swab provided in the package to remove any debris or oils.

Applying Curanail:

• Dip the applicator into the bottle: Dip the applicator brush into the Curanail bottle. Do not wipe off the excess varnish on the bottle's rim.
• Apply the varnish: Apply the varnish evenly to the entire surface of the affected nail, including the underside of the nail tip, like you would with cosmetic nail varnish.
• Allow the varnish to dry: Let the treated nails dry for about 3 minutes.

Subsequent applications:

• Remove old varnish: Once a week, remove the old Curanail varnish using an alcohol swab provided in the package.
