Nurofen Plus tablets are an effective pain relief medication that treats a variety of pain. It's a dual-action painkiller that alleviates acute to moderate discomfort and aches when you haven't had much success with other analgesics like aspirin or paracetamol. The pain relief product provides short-term, fast-acting relief from dental pain, period pain, joint pain, and muscular pain and is suitable for adults and children above the age of 12 years. The active ingredients in Nurofen Plus tablets are Ibuprofen (an anti-inflammatory medication) and codeine phosphate (a pain-relieving opioid).

Can I take other painkillers on top of Nurofen Plus?
It is safe to take paracetamol alongside Nurofen plus, but other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and codeine-based painkillers should be avoided.
How long can I take Nurofen Plus?
Since it contains Codeine, it is not recommended for more than 3 days use as it may become addictive
My pain is not being managed with Nurofen Plus. Can I increase the dosage? It is not recommended to increase the dosage stated on the box. If you require further pain relief you should contact your GP.

Side Effects

Nurofen Plus may cause stomach disturbances such as nausea, vomiting, cramps, and constipation. If you notice any unexplained bleeding you should stop taking this medication and contact your GP. This medicine may make you feel drowsy so it is not recommended to drive or operate heavy machinery
