FAQ
Is it safe to use a nasal spray and oral antihistamines at the same time?
Yes, it’s perfectly safe to use both types of treatment simultaneously.
What’s the difference between Avamys and Flixonase?
Avamys and Flixonase both contain the same active ingredient: fluticasone. Because of this, they’re very similar, although some reports suggest that Avamys generally works faster.
Because this contains a steroid, is it dangerous?
The steroid reaches the affected areas of the nose directly, and so reduces local inflammation. It should not cause any long term harm.
