Fexofenadine is a non-drowsy antihistamine that is used to treat allergic-type symptoms such as a runny nose, itching and sneezing. It works by preventing the body from producing histamine, which in turn controls the allergic response the patient has. Fortunately, Fexofenadine may be used in conjunction with nasal sprays and eye drops if symptoms are not controlled.
