Xenical, also known generically as Orlistat, is a medicine used for weight loss. It is designed to prevent the breakdown of triglycerides in the intestine. When this happens, the body cannot absorb free fatty acids from our diet, and in turn, are excreted from the body. It is a medication that should be taken three times a day, before each meal. The most common dosage is one capsule to be taken three times a day before each meal.

Xenical, the brand name of Orlistat, is a medication that is used to remove fat from the body; it does not suppress your appetite. It blocks fats from being broken down in the body so that it cannot be absorbed, and is passed through your system. It is still important to maintain a low-calorie diet and proper exercise when using Xenical. Xenical 120mg is available in different quantities.
