Fucidin cream is an antibiotic cream containing the active ingredient fusidic acid (2%). It treats skin infections such as impetigo and other superficial skin conditions like infected eczema, dermatitis, and other fungal infections. This topical treatment is suitable for treating fungal skin infections in both adults and children. It also helps treat bacterial skin infections by preventing the growth of bacteria. Fucidin cream is most effective when applied to the affected area two or three times a day for about a week.
