Livial
Livial is a hormone replacement therapy option that can help women manage and alleviate the symptoms associated with menopause, including mood swings, sleep deprivation, and hot flushes. Livial tablets supplement the hormone levels the body can't produce naturally, lessening unpleasant menopausal symptoms. Unlike other HRTs, this doesn't contain oestrogen or progesterone. Livial also increases the risk of breast cancer, and this risk rises the longer you take it. It must not be used if you have or have had breast cancer, as it increased the chance of breast cancer coming back. In women with a womb, Livial also increases the chance of womb (endometrial) cancer being diagnosed. Your doctor will review these risks with you regularly. It is also important to attend breast screening and to report any vaginal bleeding or spotting that continues after the first 6 months of treatment or starts later.
