Senna tablets are natural stimulant laxatives that are used for occasional constipation. It is important to remember that stimulant laxatives do not affect the absorption of calories from your food so it is not an effective weight control treatment. It is most effective when taken at night.

How many Senna tablets can I take?
It is recommended to take one tablet at night, but you can take two tablets if necessary.
How long will it take to work?
Senna generally acts fairly efficiently so it should be effective within 10-12 hours of taking them. If there's been no improvement in your bowel movement after 3 days of use, speak to your GP.
