Vardenafil

Vardenafil 20mg, also called generic Levitra, is a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction. Take it as a single dose approximately 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. Vardenafil tablets dilate the blood vessels in the penis to help you achieve an erection, but only work if there's sexual arousal - it will not boost sexual desire. It's suitable for adult males experiencing erectile dysfunction and contains the active ingredient vardenafil hydrochloride (HCL).

  • Helps achieve an erection
  • One of the most efficient erectile dysfunction treatments
  • Generic version of Levitra

Buy Vardenafil 20mg Online

Vardenafil, the generic version of Levitra, is a drug used to help increase the flow of blood to the penis in men who have difficulty getting or maintaining an erection, following sexual arousal.

When to Use Vardenafil Tablets?

Vardenafil is a beneficial treatment for adult males with erectile dysfunction. It's most effective in the following cases:

  • Poor Blood Circulation: Men with low blood circulation may struggle to achieve an erection. The tablets can enhance blood flow, which enhances sexual function.
  • Diabetes: Males with diabetes are more at risk of ED, but Vardenafil can be an effective solution.
  • Post-Prostate Surgery: If you've undergone prostate procedures, you can use the medicine to restore erectile function.
  • Psychological Factors: Vardenafil can also help men who experience ED due to anxiety, stress, and depression.

Age Restrictions For Vardenafil 20mg

The medication is suitable for adult men aged 18 and over. Men aged 65 and over don't need a lower dose because of their age, but your prescriber will think carefully before moving you up to 20mg.

How to Use Vardenafil 20mg Tablets?

The recommended starting dose of Vardenafil tablets is 10mg, taken about 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity. However, you can take the 20mg dose if your healthcare provider recommends it and when the 10mg standard dosage doesn't work.

You should never consume more than one tablet within a 24-hour period. You can take it with or without food, but a heavy or high-fat meal may delay how quickly it starts to work.

You shouldn't drink grapefruit juice while taking Vardenafil, as it can interfere with the usual effect of the medicine. Alcohol can make erection problems worse.

Do not combine Vardenafil with other erectile dysfunction treatments.

When to Avoid Using Vardenafil as an Erectile Dysfunction Treatment?

Generic Vardenafil should never be taken in the following cases:

  • Medical Advice: If a doctor advises that you should avoid sexual activity due to a heart condition, it's important to follow the advice.
  • Heart Attacks and Strokes: If you've had a stroke or heart attack in the last 6 months, you shouldn't use the medication. This also applies if you have low blood pressure (below 90/50 mmHg) or unstable angina.
  • Severe Kidney and Liver Disease: If you have a severe liver problem, or have kidney dialysis, you shouldn't use Vardenafil. If you have severe kidney problems and aren't on dialysis, or mild to moderate liver problems, you may start on 5mg, and with moderate liver problems the most you can take is 10mg.
  • Medications: You shouldn't use Vardenafil if you take nitrates, use amyl nitrite ("poppers") or another nitric oxide donor, or take riociguat. It also can't be taken with the HIV medicines ritonavir or indinavir, or, if you're over 75, with ketoconazole or itraconazole taken by mouth. If you take erythromycin or clarithromycin, the maximum dose is 5mg. Most blood pressure medicines don't rule you out, but if you take an alpha-blocker, you need to be on a steady dose before starting Vardenafil, and you'll start on 5mg.
  • Eye Conditions: If you have ever lost sight in one eye because of NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischaemic optic neuropathy), or have an inherited eye disease such as retinitis pigmentosa, you shouldn't use Vardenafil.
  • Allergies and Skin Reactions: If you're allergic to vardenafil or any of the other ingredients, or have ever had Stevens-Johnson syndrome or toxic epidermal necrolysis (serious skin reactions) while taking vardenafil, you shouldn't use Vardenafil.

Precautions For Vardenafil 20mg

The following won't necessarily rule you out of using the medicine, but you should take precautions and seek medical advice first:

  • Penis Deformations: If you have a condition like Peyronie's disease or a severe penile angulation, your healthcare professional will need to assess whether the medication is suitable.
  • Risk of Priapism: Some conditions, like sickle cell anaemia and leukaemia, can increase the risk of an erection lasting for over 4 hours. Taking Vardenafil can also increase these risks.
  • Stomach Ulcers: Individuals with active ulcers may be unable to use the medication.
  • Heart Rhythm: If you have an irregular heartbeat, a heart condition you were born with that shows on a heart tracing (ECG), or low potassium in your blood, tell our prescriber before you use Vardenafil.
  • Driving: Vardenafil can make you dizzy or affect your sight. If it does, don't drive or use tools or machines.
