Ovestin 1mg cream is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) option used during menopause to relieve vaginal dryness (vaginal atrophy). Unlike other HRT treatments, you apply Ovestin Cream high up inside the vagina using a reusable applicator. After application, the cream emulates oestrogen levels that the ovaries typically produce to ensure the vagina stays comfortable and moist. It's suitable for women aged 18 and over and contains the active ingredient estriol (an oestrogen hormone).
