What does Hill's Balsam Dry Cough Liquid contain?
Hill's Balsam Dry Cough Liquid contains pholcodine. The medicine also contains other ingredients, including hydroxyethylcellulose, citric acid, sodium propyl hydroxybenzoate (E217), sodium methyl hydroxybenzoate (E219), sucrose, treacle, ethanol (alcohol), and special flavour (NI225892).
If you suffer from diabetes mellitus, this medicinal product probably won't be suitable. Always check with your doctor or pharmacist first. Do not use it if you're allergic to any of the ingredients or if you have problems digesting sucrose or glucose.
