  • How many Covonia Medicated Sore Throat Lozenges can I take daily?

    If you're an adult, you can take between six and 10 lozenges in one day. Let each sweet melt slowly in your mouth. Children and teenagers aged 12 and above can suck three to five sweets daily. Avoid giving this medication to children below 12 years old. If your symptoms worsen or don't get better within three to four days, contact your doctor. Avoid taking this medicine for long periods.

  • Is Covonia good for sore throats?

    These Covonia lozenges are excellent for throat pain, as they alleviate irritated sore throats thanks to chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, an antiseptic, and lidocaine hydrochloride monohydrate, a local painkiller. If you have a bacterial infection accompanied by a fever, you may require additional treatment, if so speak to one of our pharmacists, or a medical professional.
