  • What dose should I give my child?

    Following the dosing instructions is important as Calpol contains paracetamol. The following doses will give your child relief while also keeping them safe:

    • Infants 2-3 months: Administer 2.5ml every 4-6 hours, with a maximum of 2 doses in 24 hours.
    • Infants 4-11 months: Give 2.5 ml, 4 hours between a second 2.5 ml dose. At most, 4 doses in 24 hours.
    • Children 1-2 years: Up to 5ml every 4 hours, with no more than 4 doses in 24 hours.
    • Children 2-3 years: Administer 7.5ml every 4 hours, with a maximum of 4 doses in 24 hours.
    • Children 3-5 years: Up to 10ml every 4 hours with 4 doses in 24 hours.
    • Children 5-6 years: 12.5ml every 4 hours, 4 doses between doses.

    DO NOT GIVE CALPOL INFANT TO CHILDREN UNDER 4KG.
