    Beechams All-In-One Liquid relieves colds, flu, and chesty coughs. It helps reduce symptoms like a blocked nose, sore throat, aches, pains, chills, and painful sinuses. Paracetamol is a painkiller that combats fever, headaches, and muscle pain. Guaifenesin loosens mucus and eases chesty coughs, while phenylephrine is a decongestant that unblocks sinuses and noses, enabling you to breathe more effortlessly. It's suitable for adults and children aged 16 and over and contains paracetamol, guaifenesin, and phenylephrine hydrochloride.

    Beechams All-in-One liquid may potentially induce drowsiness as one of its side effects. This is because it contains three active ingredients, including paracetamol, phenylephrine, and guaifenesin, which can have sedative effects on some people.   • Is Beechams All-in-One Liquid a cough suppressant?

    Beechams All-in-One Liquid isn't designed to work as a cough suppressant. It's a multi-symptom relief medicine typically used to relieve chesty coughs and other cold and flu symptoms, like a blocked nose, headache, feverishness, and sore throat. Even though it contains guaifenesin, which can help loosen phlegm in your chest, it isn't specifically designed as a cough suppressant. Speak to your doctor or one of our pharmacists if you require a cough suppressant.

  • How often can you take Beechams All-in-One Liquid?

    You can take Beechams All-in-One Liquid every four hours as required but do not take this product for more than five days unless advised by your GP. Take orally (applies to adults and children aged 16 or above):

    • Pour the liquid into a measuring cup up to the 20ml mark.
    • Avoid taking more than every four hours.

    If you see no improvement in your symptoms, visit your GP. Do not drink alcohol with this product.

Side Effects

This medication may induce side effects, including:

  • Allergic-type reactions (swelling of the facial features, skin itchiness, rashes, rapid heart rate or breathing problems).
  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.

Talk to your GP before taking Beechams All-in-One oral solution if you are pregnant or suffer from chronic cough, high blood pressure, liver disease or asthma. Also, consult your GP if you are taking prescribed medicines.
