FAQ

  • How will Difflam 3mg Lemon Flavour Lozenges alleviate my sore throat?

When you suck on a Difflam lozenge, it dissolves and releases the active ingredient benzydamine hydrochloride (an anti-inflammatory). You dissolve it gradually in the mouth to temporarily repress the cough, and lubricate and alleviate irritated throat tissues.

  • How else will Difflam Lemon Lozenges help sore throat symptoms?

As well as the anti-inflammatory effects, the act of sucking on a Difflam lozenge will boost saliva production which lessens dryness and lines your throat. As such, this decreases itchiness and discomfort.

  • Can I give my child Difflam 3mg Lozenges Lemon?

If your child is under the age of six, they shouldn't take these lozenges.

  • Will Difflam 3mg Lozenges Lemon Flavour cure my sore throat?

No, Difflam lozenges won't cure your throat condition. Rather, they will alleviate discomfort and dryness. Your sore throat should improve over the next three or four days. If your throat irritation persists or becomes worse, visit your GP as soon as possible.
