  • When can't I use Vicks Sinex Soother Nasal Spray for a blocked nose?

    Avoid using Vicks Sinex Soother Nasal Spray if you:

    • Are currently taking treatments for high blood pressure such as Debrisoquine, Bethanidine or Guanethidine.
    • Have irritated nasal tissues (nasal mucosa) or scabs.
    • Have had surgery to remove your pituitary gland.
    • Suffer from severe cardiac asthma or coronary disease.
    • Have a sensitivity to oxymetazoline hydrochloride.
    • Are allergic to any of the other ingredients in the Vicks Sinex Soother Decongestant Nasal Spray.
    • Are currently taking (or have taken the following medication in the last two weeks): monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) to treat depression and Parkinson's disease.
    • Have narrow-angle glaucoma.
    • Take tricyclic antidepressants.
    • Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
