    Usually, you can treat cold or flu symptoms without visiting your doctor and should start feeling better in one to two weeks.

    The onset of cold and flu symptoms starts gradually, and typically, you'll notice:

  • What does this medication contain?

    Care Decongestant Oral Liquid contains the active ingredient pseudoephedrine hydrochloride. It also includes orange flavour, ethanol, citric acid monohydrate, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate
    (E219), sunset yellow dye (E110), carmellose sodium, sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate, sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), condensed milk flavour, saccharin sodium, menthol, glycerol
    (E422), and purified water.

  • How should I use Care Decongestant Oral Liquid?

    • Consume 2 x 5ml doses three times a day.
    • Avoid giving this cold-flu formula to children below 12 years.
    • Avoid taking it with other cough and cold medicines.

Side Effects

As with all medications, you may suffer from an allergic reaction when taking Care Decongestant Oral Liquid. However, this is rare. If you notice any of the following symptoms when taking this product, stop using it immediately and seek medical attention immediately or speak to our pharmacy team.

  • Feverishness, breathing problems, itching, severe rashes, stomach ache, and mouth, skin or lip swelling.
    A fever.
  • Reddened skin.
  • Numerous minute pustules (potential symptoms of Acute Generalized Exanthematous Pustulosis (AGEP).
  • Colon inflammation.
  • Restlessness.
  • Hallucinations.
  • Insomnia (disturbed sleep).
  • Nausea.
  • Vomiting.
  • Headache.
  • Stomach pain.
  • A rash, red patch or lump on the skin.
  • Anxiousness, irritability or excitability.
  • Raised pressure in your eye (glaucoma).
  • Trouble urinating.
  • Irregular heartbeat.
  • Rapid heartbeat.
  • Palpitations.
  • High blood pressure.
  • Impaired circulation (cold hands or feet).
  • Trembling.
  • Mouth dryness.
