  • How do I take Benylin Dry Coughs Night Syrup?

Take two 5ml spoonfuls of Benylin Dry Coughs Night Syrup every six hours, four times daily (this applies to adults and children aged 12 and over). Avoid exceeding the stated dosage.

  • Does Benylin Dry Cough Night Syrup make you sleep?

Yes, Benylin Dry Coughs Night Syrup includes diphenhydramine, a sedating antihistamine. It causes sleepiness and makes you feel drowsy, which can be helpful if you are having sleeping difficulties because of your dry cough.

Always stick to the recommended dosage and avoid taking any more than you need to. Taking too much of the medicine may cause extreme tiredness and other side effects. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery after taking this syrup until you know how it affects you.
