  • What is the dosage of this medication?

The usual dosage of Nurofen for Children is 20mg/kg/day in divided doses. This means that the total dose of ibuprofen that your child should take in a day should be equal to 20mg per kilogram of their body weight. This dose can be given in 3 or 4 divided doses throughout the day.

For example, if your child weighs 10kg, they should take a total of 200mg of ibuprofen per day. This could be given as 5ml of Nurofen for Children suspension every 6 hours.
