    The usual dosage for Nurofen for Children 7+ Chewable Capsules will vary depending on your child's age and weight. Please consult the patient information leaflet for specific dosage instructions.

    General dosage guidelines:

    • Children aged 7-9 years: Two capsules every 6-8 hours, as needed. Do not exceed 6 capsules in 24 hours.
    • Children aged 10-12 years: Three capsules every 6-8 hours, as needed. Do not exceed 9 capsules in 24 hours.

    Important: If your child's symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days, consult your doctor.

    How to take Nurofen for Children 7+ Chewable Capsules:

    • Chew the capsule thoroughly before swallowing.
    • If your child has difficulty swallowing the capsule, it can be crushed and mixed with food or drink.
    • Nurofen for Children 7+ Chewable Capsules can be taken with or without food.
    • Leave a minimum of 6 hours between each dose.

    • Have a stomach ulcer or a history (two or more episodes) of stomach ulcers, perforation or bleeding
    • Have severe liver or kidney disease
    • Are taking certain other medicines such as aspirin, warfarin, or methotrexate, or other NSAID painkillers with a daily dose above 75mg
