    Robitussin Dry Cough Medicine is an effective treatment to suppress dry coughs. Usually, these cough types involve hardly any mucus and cause a tickle and persistent irritation at the back of your throat. Robitussin works to ease dry-out stubborn coughs by regulating the cough reflex and alleviating your throat. It's suitable for adults and children over 12 years old and contains the active ingredients Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide.

  • Can I take Robitussin Dry Cough medicine all the time if I have a persistent cough?

    It is not recommended for long-term use. If you find that your cough hasn't alleviated or gone after a week or two then you should speak to your GP

  • Can I take cough and cold remedies on top of Robitussin Dry Cough Medicine?

    Medicines such as paracetamol are suitable to take in combination. However, any other products containing the active ingredient Dextromethorphan are not recommended as this is already present in Robitussin Dry Cough medicine

Side Effects

If you experience an allergic reaction such as itching or redness of the skin then you should stop taking this medicine. Robitussin Dry Cough Medicine may also cause an upset stomach and drowsiness(this is extremely rare).
